Go-Kart Hippo Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Go-Kart Hippo mobile application (“Go-Kart Hippo” or “the app”), operated by YETZER Investment Group LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Go-Kart Hippo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
If anything in these Terms is unclear, you can reach us at support@yetzerinvestmentgroup.com.
What Go-Kart Hippo does
Go-Kart Hippo is a scheduling and billing tool for independent service professionals. The app lets you track your clients, schedule appointments, generate invoices, estimates, and receipts, and get paid: your clients can pay you by card or bank through Stripe, and you can send payment-request links for external payment apps (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal).
Go-Kart Hippo is a tool you use to run your business. It is not a payment processor, a customer-relationship management platform, or an accounting service. Card and bank payments are processed by Stripe and paid into your own Stripe account; we never hold your clients’ money or yours. We do not provide tax advice or legal advice.
Eligibility
To use Go-Kart Hippo, you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Go-Kart Hippo is not designed for use by people under 18.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, whether or not you authorized it. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, contact us immediately at support@yetzerinvestmentgroup.com.
You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep your account information current.
You may close your account at any time from inside the app. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your responsibility for client data
When you use Go-Kart Hippo, you enter information about your own clients — their names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and notes you write about them. This is third-party personal information, and you are solely responsible for it.
Specifically, you agree that:
- You have a legitimate business relationship with each client whose information you enter into Go-Kart Hippo, or you have their permission to store their information.
- You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to how you collect, store, and use your clients’ information, including (where applicable) the California Consumer Privacy Act, the General Data Protection Regulation, and any other privacy laws in the jurisdictions where you and your clients live.
- You will respond to your clients’ requests about their information (such as requests to see what you’ve stored, to correct it, or to delete it) yourself. We are not a party to the relationship between you and your clients.
- You will not use Go-Kart Hippo to store information about people who are not your clients, or to harass, stalk, or harm anyone.
If a client of yours contacts us directly with a complaint or a legal demand about their information, we may forward that contact to you and may suspend the relevant data in your account while the dispute is resolved.
Text messages to your clients
Go-Kart Hippo does not send text messages to your clients. When you send an On my way message, an arrival time or an evening reminder, your phone’s own Messages app opens with the text written, and you send it from your own number. It does not go through us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Go-Kart Hippo to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third party’s rights
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or fraudulent communications to your clients or anyone else
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app to build a competing product
- Interfere with the app’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or test our security without our written permission
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or business
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s intellectual property
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these rules.
Subscriptions and pricing
You can use Go-Kart Hippo without a paid plan, and there are one or more paid subscription tiers. Using it without a plan costs no subscription fee, but card and bank payments your clients make to you carry a 3% fee while you have no plan; see “Payments to you and your clients” below.
Where you subscribed decides who bills you and where you cancel. The two are separate: a subscription bought on one cannot be changed or cancelled from the other, and the website will not sell you a second subscription while one is already live — it refuses before any money moves.
If you subscribed on an iPhone, inside the app. Your subscription is purchased through the Apple App Store and billed by Apple under your App Store account; RevenueCat receives the purchase and subscription events on our behalf. You can view, change, or cancel it in your Apple account settings — on your iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot refund an App Store purchase.
If you subscribed on the website. Your subscription is purchased and billed by Stripe, and Apple is not involved. You turn off renewal on the website, on your plan screen: nothing stops that day, you keep the plan through the day you have paid for, and nothing further is charged. Apple cannot refund a website subscription — only we can. Write to us at support@yetzerinvestmentgroup.com.
Any paid feature is subject to the terms presented at the time of purchase.
Payments to you and your clients
Payment-request links. Go-Kart Hippo generates payment-request links you send to your clients through external services (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal). When your client taps one, the relevant external app opens with the request pre-filled. Those payments happen entirely inside the external service; we do not process them, do not hold the funds, and do not guarantee that any client will pay.
Card and bank payments. If you connect a Stripe account in Settings, your clients can pay you by card or bank: from a bill on their client page, through a payment link you send them, or in person with Tap to Pay on iPhone. Each payment is processed by Stripe as a charge on your own connected Stripe account, with you as the merchant of record, and Stripe pays it out to your bank. Go-Kart Hippo never holds the money.
What a card or bank payment costs. Your client pays a small processing fee on top of your bill, shown to them before they pay. That fee covers Stripe’s own fee, so your bill reaches your Stripe account whole. If you do not have a paid plan when the payment is made, Go-Kart Hippo keeps 3% of the bill, taken out of the payment before it reaches your bank: on a $200.00 bill, $6.00. On Pro and Premium we keep nothing. The plan you have at the moment your client pays decides which applies, not the plan you had when you sent the bill.
Disputes and reversals. If a client disputes a card or bank payment, or their bank pulls it back, the amount and Stripe’s fee for it come out of your Stripe account, not ours. Disputes about payments are between you and your client and, where applicable, between you and the payment service. We are not a party to those disputes and will not mediate them.
The Stripe Services Agreement. Payment processing services for providers on Go-Kart Hippo are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these Terms or continuing to operate as a provider on Go-Kart Hippo, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Go-Kart Hippo enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Go-Kart Hippo accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Go-Kart Hippo to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
You are responsible for any taxes you owe on your income. Go-Kart Hippo does not provide tax advice or tax forms.
Our intellectual property
The Go-Kart Hippo app, including its code, design, branding, and content, is owned by YETZER Investment Group LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own business purposes while these Terms remain in effect. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the app without our written permission.
The information you enter into Go-Kart Hippo — your clients, your appointments, your notes — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that information solely to operate the app for you.
Third-party services
Go-Kart Hippo uses third-party services to operate, including:
- Supabase for database and storage hosting
- Sentry for crash reporting
- Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and PayPal for payment requests (when you tap a payment-request button)
- Apple — bills and manages paid subscriptions bought on an iPhone, through the App Store
- Stripe — processes the card and bank payments your clients make to you, bills and manages paid subscriptions bought on the website, and processes gift purchases
- RevenueCat — manages subscription state and receives purchase events for the iPhone route only; it is not involved in a website subscription
- Cloudflare — hosts the web app and the client-facing booking pages
- Twilio — holds a phone number for a future feature; the app does not use it today, and no message has been sent through it
- Resend — delivers the emails you send to your clients
- Google — provides address autocomplete when you type a client’s street address
Each third-party service has its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their conduct or for any harm caused by their services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
No warranties
Go-Kart Hippo is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful code. We do not guarantee that any data stored in the app will not be lost, corrupted, or made temporarily unavailable.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any information that is critical to your business.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YETZER Investment Group LLC, our officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of Go-Kart Hippo, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any case, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Go-Kart Hippo will not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or (b) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, the limits above will apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YETZER Investment Group LLC, our officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your use of Go-Kart Hippo
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third party’s rights, including the rights of your clients
- Information you upload to Go-Kart Hippo
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.
Binding arbitration and class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Go-Kart Hippo — whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory — will be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in effect at the time the arbitration is started. The arbitration will be held in Florida or, at your election, by remote means. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding on both parties.
You and YETZER Investment Group LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. You may bring claims only on your own behalf and not on behalf of any other person or class.
If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest of this section will remain in effect. If the class-action waiver specifically is found unenforceable, the entire arbitration section will be void, and disputes will be resolved in the courts described under “Governing law” below.
Termination
You may stop using Go-Kart Hippo and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, if your continued use of the app creates legal or operational risk to us, or if we discontinue the app entirely. Where we can do so reasonably, we will give you advance notice and a chance to export your data before terminating.
The following sections survive termination: Your responsibility for client data, Our intellectual property, No warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Binding arbitration and class-action waiver, and Governing law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we change them in a way that meaningfully affects your rights or obligations, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and notify active users by email or by an in-app banner before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Go-Kart Hippo after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to the binding arbitration section above, any dispute that proceeds in court will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
